I spent five years as a U.S. Marine Sergeant. The Corps didn't just teach me discipline — it showed me what happens when systems fail and people aren't prepared. That lesson has shaped everything I've built since.

After earning my Doctorate of Chiropractic cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College, I founded River City Chiropractic Wellness in 2006. Over twelve years I served more than 2,900 clients — and made every mistake a founder-dependent business can make. The practice ran on me. When I stepped back, the cracks showed immediately.

That experience led me to franchise ownership — Hotworx and Eat the Frog Fitness — where I learned the operational rigor that franchises demand: site selection, staff management, CRM systems, marketing, and payroll at scale. I saw firsthand what a transferable, sellable business actually looks like when it's built right.
